SHARON GETS ON HER BIKE FOR CHARITY

In April 2011 Sharon Heeley, EGU/EWGA Regional Development Officer (West Midlands), is heading to China for an amazing 450kms cycling challenge, raising funds for a charity called Women for Women. The charity aims to improve the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of a range of conditions that affect women and babies including cancer, infertility, miscarriage, genetic diseases and brain injury. 

Originally from Devon, Sharon was the Regional Development Officer for the South West a few years ago and was instrumental in the setting up of our Gloucestershire County Golf Partnership. Gloucestershire members will also remember her as a member of the Ladies’ County Team which reached the Finals in 2005.

To raise further funds for Women for Women Sharon is running a Charity Golf Day on Friday 6^th August at Henlle Park Golf Club (Shropshire), so if you would like to enter a team, simply complete the attached form.
