PARTNERSHIP BUYS EQUIPMENT

...AND YOU CAN BENEFIT

Funds were made available earlier this year (see release below) for equipment. But your Partnership decided to buy half sets of clubs for men, women, juniors, left & right handed, straight away.

This equipment is available now, for a small loan fee, to all newcomers to the game of golf.

Buying equipment is not something we want to do until we know we want to commit to this game.

So...... TRY BEFORE YOU BUY!

HAVE CLUBS ….. WILL PLAY

Volunteers give their time for free ….. but golfing equipment to make their

job possible is expensive.

But now the England Golf Partnership has received funding of more than £70,000,

through the Sport England Community Club Development Programme, to purchase

golf equipment for junior and adult development.

This means that the Gloucestershire Golf Partnership will receive at least £1,500 to buy

new golf equipment which will include the activity games, Tri-Golf and Golf Xtreme,

plus junior half sets, adult half sets (men’s and ladies’) and left handed clubs, which

can then be loaned out to help newcomers to the game.

The Gloucestershire Partnership is fortunate in already having a sponsor, Burns-Anderson,

the Bristol based firm of financial advisers.  This means that plans for City days and taster

sessions to promote golf as a sport for adults as well as youngsters are well under way.

Now, with this injection of cash for equipment, more golfing ‘wannabees’ really will have a

chance to get into golf.  And the volunteers will have even more to offer!
